Hydra Dermabrasion is a gentle, non-invasive treatment designed to purify, moisturize and sublimate the skin without damaging it. However, as with any aesthetic treatment, certain mild and temporary reactions may occur after the session.

Possible side effects include :

• Slight redness: This usually disappears within a few hours, and simply reflects the natural activation of cutaneous circulation.
• Feeling of slightly warmed-up skin: More frequent on sensitive skin, this sensation fades rapidly.
• Slight desquamation: In some cases, slight cell renewal may lead to fine exfoliation of the skin in the days following treatment.
• Temporary skin sensitivity: Skin is more receptive after treatment, and may be more sensitive to temperature variations or certain cosmetics, but this is only temporary.

• Moisturize your skin with gentle, appropriate skin care products.
• Protect your skin from the sun with a high sun protection factor for a few days.
• Avoid irritating or exfoliating products for 48 hours.

At Be Esthetic, your safety is our priority. Because each skin is unique and deserves our full attention, certain situations require that Hydra Dermabrasion be adapted or postponed.

Hydra Dermabrasion is not recommended in the following cases :

• Presence of an active skin infection (herpes, impetigo, etc.). Open wounds, cuts or burns on the area to be treated
• Ongoing heavy dermatological treatment (e.g. powerful anti-acne Roaccuntane)
• Known allergies to certain active ingredients used during treatment
• Non-stabilized skin diseases (severe eczema, psoriasis in flare-up, etc.)
• Very reactive skin in the acute inflammatory stage
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding do not prohibit Hydra Dermabrasion per se, although certain active boosters (acids, retinoids, etc.) may be contraindicated. We therefore adapt the treatment for pregnant patients, using only gentle, moisturizing serums.
